About Banned Clothes

Banned Clothes is a small independent t-shirt brand. We design loud, funny, occasionally offensive statement tees, the kind of lines that get a comment flagged or a listing pulled, and print them on a heavyweight cotton shirt that's actually worth wearing.

What we make

Every design is drawn and typeset in-house. No stock clip art, no artwork lifted from other shops. Some phrases are ours, some are internet folklore that deserved a better shirt than it was getting; either way, if it's on one of our tees it's because we thought it was funny enough to put on cotton.

Two collections cover most of the range:

• Offensive Shirts: the tees that say the quiet part loudly.
• Meme Collection: internet culture, printed for people with excellent taste and questionable screen time.

Why the shirt matters as much as the joke

Most novelty tee shops print on the cheapest blank they can find. We don't. Our standard blank is the Bella+Canvas 3001: 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton at 4.2 oz/yd², side-seamed, with a unisex retail fit. It's soft on day one and still holds its shape after a summer of washes. A few designs are printed on other heavyweight ring-spun cotton tees; whichever it is, the exact blank, fabric weight and size chart are listed on the product page, so you always know what you're buying.

Designs are applied with direct-to-garment (DTG) printing, which uses water-based inks that soak into the fibres instead of sitting on top like a vinyl transfer. That's why the print stays soft and doesn't crack or peel.

How orders work

We print to order. That means no warehouse full of unsold sizes and no guessing which joke will land; it also means every shirt is made for one person. Orders are printed in the United States in 3–5 business days and US delivery takes another 5–10 business days. You get a tracking number the moment it ships.

Because each shirt is made for you, we can't accept returns for sizing or preference changes, so please use the size guide before you order. If anything arrives damaged, misprinted or wrong, email us within 30 days and we'll replace it for free.
